Summer and Selena

Summer Glau was an American actress who is well-known for her character River Tam in Firefly, an award-winning television show. She was also Cameron in Terminator. The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from that, she's starred in TV programs The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as and guest-starred on the series Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. Glau has also appeared in TV films and shorts like Mammoth and The Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon, Help for the Holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Her career is marked by numerous accolades. FHM listed her in their 100 Sexiest Women of World list two times, while Wizard magazine included her in their Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim included her in the magazine's Hot 100. Coming to her acting accolades Glau was awarded the SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. The actress also won the Saturn Award as Best Supporting actress for her performance in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was born the third child of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena joined her father's band when she turned eight. Selena performed as the lead guitarist of the group, as did her two siblings Abraham junior playing base, and sister Suzette playing drums. Selena acted as the lead vocalist. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and they would play with her siblings at different wedding fairs, bars, restaurants as well as other venues. Selena was not able to enjoy a full time in her childhood because the band needed lots of time. But their father Abraham was determined to encourage the band and eventually they were passionate musicians. Abraham Senior was a member of the first band Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos was founded in 1981. The group is a enterprise of the Quintanillas as their main source to revenue. Quintanillas were determined despite the initially difficult financial times to make an established band. Selena Y Los Dinos, a band that gained popularity in Western States by the end of the 1980s is the result of their persistence. Selena, the lead singer of the group, won two awards at the Tejano Awards of 1987: Female Singer of the Year and Artist. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in popularity and fame since that time. They were seen on several Spanish-language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
