Allana competed with Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. Allana played in her first women's rugby union game played in New South Wales in 2013 and was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team.
